Routes

A route is a list of locations, called waypoints, that you visit in order. Soundscape sets a beacon on the first waypoint. When you arrive, it tells you and moves the beacon to the next one.

Use a route to learn a new journey, or to stay on track on one you know.

Creating a Route

  1. Select Routes on the home screen, then select New.

  2. Give the route a name. You can add a description.

  3. Select Add Waypoints and choose markers. You can also add your current location or a place nearby.

  4. Select Done.

Following a Route

Select the route on the Routes screen, then select Start Route. To follow it backwards, select Start Route in Reverse. On the home screen, Next Waypoint and Previous Waypoint move the beacon along the route. Stop Route ends it.

Changing a Route

Select the route on the Routes screen, then select Edit Route. You can add, remove and reorder waypoints, change the name and description, or delete the route.

Sharing a Route

Select the route on the Routes screen, then select Share.
