Markers

A marker is a place you have saved. It can be any place that matters to you: your home, a bus stop, a building entrance or a crossing.

Soundscape calls out your markers as you pass them. You can set an audio beacon on a marker, add it to a route, or hear the closest ones with the Nearby Markers button.

Creating Markers

  1. Select Markers on the home screen, then select New.

  2. Choose Current Location, or a place from Places Nearby.

  3. Change the name if you want, and add notes. Soundscape reads the notes out with the marker.

  4. Select Done.

You can also save any place you find. Open its Location Details and select Save as Marker.

Customizing Markers

Select the marker on the Markers screen, then select Edit Marker. You can change its name, notes and position, or select Delete Marker. Deleting a marker also removes it from your routes.
